Kid CEO - Shaping tomorrow

Children don’t learn entrepreneurship by reading about business — they learn it by creating something people actually want.

Young Entrepreneur is a hands-on after-school program where students turn ideas into real products, brands, and businesses through live challenges, customer feedback, pitching, and selling.

Children learn how to spot problems, create solutions, price products, communicate value, and think like builders — all through doing, not lectures.

By the end, every child launches something real. Even if the business goes bust, the learning will stay forever.

At a glance

Level 1 (Age 8 - 10)

Children build their very first real business.

Students move from spotting everyday problems to creating physical products they can actually sell.

Through guided challenges, pricing games, simple branding activities, teamwork, and customer interaction, children experience entrepreneurship in a playful but meaningful way. They learn problem solving, creativity, basic money management, communication and above all gain confidence.

The term ends with a live Mini Bazaar, where every child runs their own stall and sells to others.

Level 2 (Age 11-13)

Students build and pitch investable businesses.

Children move from products into structured business thinking — validating ideas, branding, costing, pricing, and pitching.

Sessions become more strategic, with students expected to defend decisions, respond to feedback, and refine their ideas over time.

They learn business thinking, market validation, branding, persuasive pitching and resilience.

The term ends with a live ‘Dragon’s Den Finale’ & ‘Mini Bazaar’, where they get to shine in front of external audiences.

FAQs

You’ve got questions,
we’ve got answers

  • All sessions are held inside your child's school, in a dedicated classroom, right after the school day ends. There is no commute and no pickup from a separate location.

  • We understand. If your child misses a session, we will share a brief note on what was covered so they can stay on track. Because cohorts are small, the teacher will spend a few minutes catching your child up at the start of the next session. We do ask that absences are kept to a minimum — the programe is designed to build across the term and each session connects to the next.

  • Nothing special. Just themselves. All materials are provided as part of the course fee.

  • No formal homework. Occasionally children will be encouraged to observe something in the real world between sessions — a price in a shop, a problem they notice at home — but nothing that requires sitting down to complete.

  • This is exactly the kind of programme that works best for children who are still finding their confidence. Everything is hands-on and project-based — children are never put on the spot to perform. Confidence builds naturally across the term because children are doing real things, not practising for a test. By the time the finale arrives, most children are far more ready than they expected to be.

  • All children. There is no entry requirement and no prior knowledge needed. The programme is designed around doing, not knowing — which means children who don't always shine in a traditional classroom often discover they are very good at this.

  • Magic Makers is designed to be the opposite of high-pressure. There are no marks, no grades, no tests, and no performance anxiety. The sessions are genuinely enjoyable — children look forward to them. That said, we do ask for commitment across the full term because the programe builds week by week.

  • The fee covers all sessions, all materials used in class, and a Magic Makers certificate of completion at the end of the term. There are no additional costs.

  • We ask for commitment to the full term when you register, both because cohorts are small and because the programme is designed to build across all sessions. We generally do not provide a refund, but if exceptional circumstances arise, please get in touch and we will handle it case by case.

  • Parents are warmly invited to attend the Mini Bazaar finale and can choose to buy from their child's stall — but there is absolutely no obligation or expectation to spend. The experience is designed to feel real for the child. Any money that changes hands is a bonus, not a requirement.

  • Sessions are facilitated by trained educators who are experienced in experiential and project-based learning. All facilitators are briefed and supported by the Magic Makers team, which includes educators with experience at United World College, Google Education, UNICEF, and the IMF.

  • Magic Makers operates independently but works in close partnership with each school. The school has chosen to offer Magic Makers to its students — which means the programme has been reviewed and approved by school leadership before it reaches your child.

  • Yes. Every child who completes the term receives an official Magic Makers certificate of completion with the name of the course. This is a tangible record of what they built and achieved across the term — and a genuine addition to a portfolio or application in the years ahead.

  • Yes. We are currently running at schools in Delhi, and are in conversation with other schools in Delhi and in other cities. If you would like us at your child's school, get in touch and we will do our best to make it happen.
